I think this is the first time I’ve done this on RPad.tv, but 1Up Sam Kennedy’s feature on Mark Cerny is so good that I want you to leave my site for a bit and visit his. It profiles Cerny’s career — which is legendary and underrated at the same time — with excellent text and several video interviews. Cerny is one of my favorite people in the business. I’m just blown away by everything he’s done and how under-appreciated he is by Joe Gamer.

I am curious on other people's opinions on a topic I just read about on a link I clicked by reading the Mark Cerny profile. But one of the articles talked about how Conan almost had his new show on XBL, and one of the first comments I read was criticizing (I felt) how they didn't think Conan was a gamer, and how they should give that spot to someone who was a gamer. Personally I think it would have been awesome for Conan to have his new show on XBL, I might actually keep a gold membership for that! Ha. I don't get why someone has to be a gamer or be related to games somehow just to be featured on something like that. Are the only movies gamers watch on netflix with their 360 game related?? I doubt it. I have seen a few of you guys use netflix on XBL to watch plenty of non-game related things, and that is ok. So why is it not ok for a person to have a show on a game console if they are not gamers??!!
Or maybe that is only a minority opinion…inquiring minds want to know!
