I’ll most likely beatĀ Dragon Age: Origins Awakening tonight. I should get back to Final Fantasy XIII when I’m done with DA…but I won’t. I’m going to play the expansion at least one more time. There are some issues with the Awakening (I’ll write about them soon), but I’m mostly loving the gameplay and dialogue. Some of the new skills and talents are awesome. The new characters are well done and Oghren is funnier than ever. I will eventually get back to FFXIII, but for now it’s all DA baby!
How about you? What’s on your weekend playlist?
The biggest Bug in a game I have ever seen was in Spiderman WoS, they had a bug where when you would load your game, it would randomly save you underground and you would just fall forever and your arms would grow as time went by. Happened to me twice, drove me insane seeing I had to start completely over each time it happened.
heres a vid for it
I'll go back and forth between DA Awakenings and FF XIII. I'm sure my friends and I will be playing rock band sometime this weekend too.
I am still playing through Wolfenstein, I'm hoping to get Mass Effect soon and start a play through of that. I would be playing Bioshock still, because I got that last week…unfortunately the game case is here with me, while the disc itself is waiting for me near Chicago in my fiance's 360….so it will be another week or so before I can resume my play through of that game.
Bad Co 2 and FFXIII for me. I also have to plan out a PC build for my aunt and make sure I can't find a pre-built for less. Maybe I can convince my aunt to go ahead and buy me Soul Silver this weekend, since my bday is Tuesday.
Maybe some MAG. I have a tremendous amount of studying and projects ahead of me.
Def buying Splinter Cell in April. Demo was great.
I'm in chapter 12 (of 13) in FFXIII, so I should be able to finish that this weekend and bust out my review. Then I'm moving onto the Dragon Age expansion for personal fun, followed by God of War III.
@Big Blak: We did have an MLB The Show review go up today. Not mine though:

Fallout 3 GOTY Edition and God of War 3
Borderlands still got a few achievements to get.
@ ALL
Is anyone going to PAX East?
Living in the AZ, so a to a trip to Boston is unlikely, unfortunately. Might save up and go to E3 or Comic Con next year.
@Arguello The bug here was annoying, but maybe I deserved it for using a cheapie tactic. I saw a group of enemies on the map and sent a death cloud their way to get some early damage. Unfortunately, the “leader” enemy was supposed to trigger the attack. Since I killed all the minions, the leader never attacked and I couldn’t kill it for some pretty important items.
I’m thinking i will actually fire up FF13 this weekend along with god of war III. But game playing will be kept to a minimum with the NCAA march madness still going.
@rpad
Something like that happened to me in Champions: RTA one time, Me and a buddy were playing through, and on a certain boss, we found a spot where it couldn’t ht us and we just shot it with arrows and spells until it died, but all the loot it dropped was floating like 10 feet in the air just out of our reach.
And I think we all have fallen victim to the save system once or twice in our gaming lives.
I’ll be on Bad Company 2, GOW3 & Heavy Rain.
I played some more Heavy Rain last night. Is anyone else playing it? I don’t have tons of time lately to sit and play for long periods so this is my 3rd time to sit and play it and I just got through that crazy scene when you play as the woman for the first time. I don’t care if they are QTEs they are still exciting.
@ Nightshade
Link that review asap lol
God of War III, MLB 10: The Show, and my best friend will be bugging me to play MW2 with him so I’ll play that some too.
@ Big Blak
I’ll play Borderlands with you.
I don’t think I’ll be making it to Boston either, but I’d love to go to E3.
I know some or most of you have probably seen this, But I just saw Sony's Move commercial. I am not even going to lie, I thought it was hilarious.
Its good to see Sony pushing the PS3.
Side note: Most Hilarious Youtube Video ever

@ Arguello;
Did that Sony commercial just slap Microsoft in the face? That was pretty funny.
Actually, upon further inspection, I think it slaps Nintendo AND Microsoft in the face. Corporate warfare is entertaining!

@TheJediRevan That's pretty harsh. What did you hate about it?
Incredibly too linear and story made NO sense. I got about 20 hours in and gave up. I am really liking Dragon Age Awakening but I don't understand how I am my guy and why I am naked….
@TheJediRevan Were you wearing the blood dragon armor? One of the annoying quirks of Awakening is that you can only use DLC items from Return to Ostagar. Any other DLC items your character had mysteriously vanish upon importing.
I was so thoroughly disgusted with Final Fantasy XIII that I traded it in and got the DA:O Awakening Disc. Square Enix has lost a customer this day…I feel shamed.
I was wearing the Grey Warden Armor from Warden's Keep so that makes sense.
@Iceman
“I mean really who wants to pretend that their hand is a gun, What is this third grade? Pew, Pew”, that line and the Jack Tretton picture in front of the tv had me cracking up.
To be honest, I would love to see more of Sony’s commercials with KB. So far none of them have disappointed.
@TheJediRevan
Square Enix pulled a "Tales of" and made the story more about the characters than the actual plot. I'm on the last disc and they just now decided what they want to do and they still don't know how.
I just beat FFXIII tonight (roughly 5 minutes ago. It's certainly not my favorite game in the series (FF8 FTW), but it's not bad. It's just….different. Different can be both good and bad, and this game has elements of both. I'll probably write my review tomorrow night cause I'm not starting such a process at 11pm on a Sunday.
