That was defintly not the best Xbox 360 game. It's a great game but far from the best this year. What about Assassin's Creed II? or Batman: Arkham Asylum…come on…

I think the Wii category was all marketing. Punchout! was the best this year.
Action adventure should have went to Batman.
This award show was a crock. Any show that gives Megan Fox an award is full of crap. These results aren't even worth arguing merits.

missed the show was not interested in it really i assumed mw2 would take GOTY since it was voter decided yes?
For the most part I agree with this list I cant speak on best dlc shadow or best voice jack black as I have not played either of those.All in all I think it went as it should have if the public chose the winners as i believe I am really surprised that mw2 didnt take GOTY.Glad uncharted got it well deserved!
How did Southpark win the award for best movie game?? I would have thought Wolverine would have won that hands down
Best part of the show was the announcement of Arkham 2. Glad I didn't watch it, heard about it on the old B:AA site.
Ya know I think most of the VGA's was just crap. Although I lmao @ Samuel L. Jackson calling himself a bad motherf*cker. Was excited about Arkham. Pretty shocked about SW: TFU 2, especially with a lot of the reviews the first one got. I was very pleased with Flower. Wasn't surprised about MW2, god I hate shooters.
For 360 Exclusives I would have picked Halo 3: ODST over L4D2. I'm not generally a Halo fan, but I think it was just a more polished game. Otherwise I think the list of winners was pretty fair.

I didn't even know about the show as I was flipping through the channels last night. I did a double-take as a breifly passed over SPIKE and saw what looked like Spartans from Halo. I go back and saw the trailer for HALO; Reach. That was awesome. Although, it kind of sucks because I've read all the novels by Eric Nylund and I know how it's going to end. Also, I'm of the mind that the books will always be better than the game or movie counterpart.

Reach falls even in the games. It will be neat to finally see the Fall of Reach and to see if Bungie keeps in line with the books. (or at least First Strike) I think this game takes place before, or at least at first, the UNSC pull out of Reach so we should get to see the biggest battle in the Halo universe first hand.

I think Linda is the luckiest. She gets stuck in a cryo pod and left for dead in a blown up ship only to get found by her boyfriend, John. Hope she makes an appearance in Reach.

And then John rescues Dr. Hasley, in Saturday's Halo Legends episode, from a fleet of covenant ships with Linda no where to be found. WTF? Is the Arbitor going to find Linda next?

To be honest, I've only read two of the books, First Strike and Ghost of Onyx.
It looks like Eidos is getting left out on the Batman Sequel….

yeah lol. However it would be funny if batman was dropped because he isn't in his early 20s, doesn't have white hair, and doesn't use a sword.
@Smartguy Square Enix loves white people. That's why almost of all its characters look Western, even though they're made in Japan. Plus, the company works with Chris Taylor; he puts the white in the Great White North.
That's cool, but I was just stereotyping Japanese heroes and antiheroes.
I think the winners list looks pretty good, except for the voices. I didn't play X-Men or Transformers but I doubt Fox or even Jackman have the VO talent that I've seen in some games this year.
Other than that though I'm glad that MW2 didn't dominate the list. I'm glad Uncharted 2 got its due credit and I'm happy to see Dragon Age up there twice. It is well deserved. Also I'm happy about the Ballad of Gay Tony and Shadow Complex was the best downloadable game this generation. let alone this year.
I don't know about L4D2 for best exclusive, but I think ODST well deserves original score. Glad to see Forza 3 up there that has to be the best racing game I've played yet.

gotta disagree with you, Battlefield 1943 was the best digi game this year.
@smartguy – you know I almost forgot I had that game. It was good, but no shadow complex. Keep in mind I owned the original battlefield and this one felt way too dumbed down to me. (I know it was cheaper but still) Plus I'm a single player guy FTW.
I am all about single player as well. However I did log close to 150 hours into 1943. I did the shadow complex demo and thought the controls were off.
