What Are You Playing This Weekend?

I’ve beaten the main game in Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light, but I haven’t saved it yet. I want to go back and beat the four optional towers. In addition to 100 floors of randomness, they’re filled with excellent treasure and new jobs. Two of the towers are down — giving me the ninja and sage jobs — and I hope to beat one more this weekend.

  1. Hockey… if I find the time between taking care of my kids, relaxing, and my latest "super secret project" for lack of a better term.

    There should be time to squeeze in some NHL 11.

    And PLEASE someone else get this game (I'm looking at you, Nightshade). I really want to boost my online stats.

    well since i'm already going to get a year of gold, i might as well get it for 360. i'll get it some time next month for my bday perhaps.

  9. I am probably not going to get all that much game time in. I'll be out all night tonight celebrating my 29th birthday, tomorrow I'll be recovering so I might get some PS Move in since I just bought my 3rd & 4th motion controllers.

    Sunday I'll be celebrating my little brothers birthday, he is turning 2.

    Other than the Move games there is nothing I really want to play right now. I beat Halo Reach and the multiplayer Reach is out of the question.

  16. I will be playing Reach later tonight and probably all day tomorrow. For a little bit tonight though I will be playing board games with my family…don't let the family part fool you…we are all fiercely competitive and our board and card games are cut throat. Just because we are family does not mean we will not exploit any and all weaknesses in somebody's playing. If we were any more competitive this is probably the part where I would yell "this is Sparta" and then kill someone. It gets ugly real quick.

    Our new poison is a game called Settlers of Catan, which apparently you can play on XBLA. Our standards are Clue, Life, monopoly, euchre (it's an Indiana/midwestern thing for those of you that don't know what this is). I'm guessing Smartguy's area plays more Spades as a standard game, we play euchre.

    I have not heard of that one. Anytime I have been down that way or talked to people from down south around that area I have heard them talk about Spades being the game of choice. I will have to look into this game now.

  20. Ive got the next four days off so Im going to overdose on Xbox loooong this weekend playing god knows what and at very random times.

    I believe it is quite similar to Spades. Just what it is called in southern Louisiana. Most things go by their French names.
