Nintendo has announced that the Classic Controller Pro for Wii is now available for an MSRP of $19.99. The controller is available in black and white colors. Here’s a snippet from the press release:
Featuring two rows of shoulder buttons and ergonomically designed grips, the Classic Controller Pro is compatible with more than 460 Wii, WiiWare and Virtual Console games. It plugs directly into the Wii Remote controller to provide a unique control option for veteran gamers and newcomers alike.
Are any of you planning on buying one? If so, are you going black or white?
I wish this didn't have to plug into the Wii remote.
^^ agreed. I guess this helps keep it at $20 though.
@smartguy
true it may keep the cost down but i'd rather just plug it directly into the Wii instead of the Wii remote.
@tokz
I'd rather it be just be wireless on its own. :)
@smartguy
Agreed. I was only saying that i'd rather have it plug in to the wii if cost is the reason on why it's plugging into the wii remote.
Wavebird gc contollers ftw!
@ Arguello;
The ONLY thing wrong with the Wavebird was its lack of rumble. I don't care who you are or what you think of controller shaking, but the fact of the matter is that it is considered a staple nowadays (much like I THOUGHT backwards compatibility was).
If they came out with like a Wavebird 2 (with rumble) that you didn't have to plug into the Wii Remote, that would be damn near the best controller ever.
