Here are a bunch of screenshots from South Park: The Stick of Truth, an upcoming RPG being developed by Obsidian Entertainment and set to be published by THQ on March 5, 2012. It plays like an old-school RPG, features the distinct South Park art style, and is being written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. On paper, this game should be awesome. I want to want it. But it's Obsidian. They need to show me a good finished product for a change.
I agree. The title available on XBLA wasn't as good as I hoped.
Dungeon Siege III was probably the best game they've released in a while. Games like Alpha Protocol and Fallout: new Vegas could have both stood more time in development. They seem to be a great "idea" company, but usually lack in their ability to deliver a well executed game.
You need to factor in the time and budget given by the publisher. The company does well considering the resources given by the publishers it works with.
