This Week’s Videogame Releases

It’s another light week for solid game releases. Thankfully, meaty games like The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for Xbox 360 should keep gamers occupied for weeks to come. I’m curious to hear what you guys and dolls think of this one. As many of you know, the PC version was one of RPadholic smartguy’s favorite games of 2011. While there will obviously be a hit in the graphics department, the other elements of this stellar game should remain intact. The PlayStation Vita gets a great tactical RPG in Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention. Like the other games in the series, it features ridiculous depth, addictive gameplay, and a unique sense of humor.

Any of you picking up new games this week?

  1. I got Crysis via games on demand and Rage should be coming in this week thanks to the timely gift card I got from Best Buy. I ordered it so I could still have time to play Forza.

  2. Having played Witcher 2 some (but not as much as I wanted) I would definitely recommend this game. It is a heavily detailed game as far as controls are concerned, and I know I haven't even gotten the hang of all the battle controls yet. The story and world has me hooked though. Bioware's Aurora engine looks pretty awesome too.

      1. yes it did, fairly quickly too. Triss and Geralt in bed near the beginning shows nudity. I didn't get far enough in to the game to see where else any nudity would be, though.

  3. No I need to finish dead rising 2 and return it. So I'll be working on that too so I can focus on swtor once the legacy update bugs are fixed

    1. If you want company for Dead Rising 2 (and N8 is not around), let me know and I'll join you. I have a few crazy weapons that I've been meaning to try out that I never got around to using during my first run of the game.

      1. Yeah I wouldn't mind some company either u or n8. I'll probably log in after 730 or 8 to play that. (central time)
