Today’s Poll: Tebow vs. ‘Taker at WrestleMania XXVIII

I had a vision recently. I saw The Undertaker’s legendary WrestleMania streak end. I saw The Dead Man lose to a Holy Man at WrestleMania XXVIII. Of course I’m talking about Tim Tebow. Never mind that the Denver Broncos’ winning streak came to end yesterday. Tebow has the power of light! He’s the world’s only hope against The Undertaker’s dark dominance of WrestleMania.

If Tebow vs. ‘Taker went down at WrestleMania XXVIII, how do you think it would go down? Kindly vote in today’s poll and describe the match you see in your head in the comments section.

  1. Interesting matchup. Good vs. evil.

Being from Miami, I despised the Gators, but under Tebow, you couldn't deny the guy's ability to win. He is, of course, a lousy quarterback by any quantitative measure, but what you can't quantify is what wins games in Denver's case. He may have lost two games so far, but he helped get the Broncos in the playoffs by sheer determination and a little divine intervention. A lot of people say that the Broncos can't go head-to-head with a good team (Saints, Packers, Patriots, etc.) and I probably agree with them. I doubt that they will be able to get far in the playoffs, let alone the Super Bowl… but damn is the guy fun to watch during the last few minutes of the game.

Should he take that excitement to Wrestlemania (as seen in your dreams), I'm sure he would equally be as exciting to watch. Spoiler: As Tebow is on his knee praying, Undertaker comes from behind and kicks him in the back, then grabs him by his neck and choke-slams him to the mat.

    1. Does sound rather "WCW" doesn't it? All we need is a killer Mongo McMicheal/Kevin Greene/Dennis Rodman triple threat match up to really suck up the joint.

    2. Keep in mind that there has been one celebrity per year for the past few WrestleManias. It helps get mainstream press. Of course I don't actually think any celeb should be involved with 'Taker's streak.

      1. I like Festus. He has good ability for a big man. I was also impressed that he stayed in character for an entire WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. I kept checking every few minutes and there he was with his tongue exposed. That's a showman.
