Sulu Wants Star Wars and Star Trek Fans to Combat Twilight

The legendary George Takei (Star Trek’s Hikaru Sulu!) is calling for “Star Peace” — a movement that aims to unite Star Wars and Star Trek fans against the evil of Twilight. This is truly one of the most worthwhile causes I’ve heard of in years! Naturally, an Asian-American man is bringing everyone to their senses. Check out the video above and let me know what you think (please!).

Now kindly excuse me as I have to find my phaser and lightsaber. Hopefully they both work against bloodsucking teenagers.

  1. This is a a a war I care not to fight. Why? Because I like girls more than any movie or television. Since the Twilight fanbase is mostly female, I'll smile and nod.

See, after years and tears of studying females, I found that…. they have boobs, and boobies are very nice. Once you get past that stark revelation (which has taken some stronger and smarter men than me their entire lives), you'll find that they not only have a mind of their own, but their intellect rivals ours a good deal of the time. It seems almost magical sometimes. There have been great men that were so hypnotized by the boobies, that they woke up one morning and 50 to 75 percent of his liquid assets were gone. True story.

So, in order to better help understand the female human and protect ourselves from heartache, anguish, and poverty, I think we should study what they like and when we find it repulsive and/or boring, just smile and nod or else they might greet us as a hostile (which you may never know if they are treating you that way). And who knows? Maybe we'll get laid in the process.

Why a smart guy like George Takei doesn't see this is beyond me.

    1. Cause he's gay.

I don't mean that as an insult, I just think that, since it's true, it may explain why getting laid by the more attractive half of the species isn't on his radar screen.

    2. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Back up a second here.

Let me see if I got this straight- you're telling me that there is more to women than boobies?!

      I.. I just … I don't understand this concept.

Oh, wait a minute! You're talking about how some of them also have a sweet ass, right?

  2. My wife loves these books. She thinks the movies are pretty bad, but watches them anyways. But much in the same way I would never force her to sit through an episode of the original series of Star Trek, she would never force me to watch these movies. It's about respect, and knowing each other's likes and dislikes.

    1. I have to agree with the wife, here. The books are okay, nothing TOO boring or mind-numbingly dull. The movies, though, are a whole 'nother story. Too angsty.

  3. Men going nuts over shirtless 17 year old females is unacceptable?

Women going nuts over 17 year old shirtless guys is acceptable?

    1. You… who lives in the same area that gives us Mardi Gras… is saying that men going nuts over shirtless 17-year-old females is unacceptable?

May I remind you that your backyard was the birthplace of Girls Gone Wild.

      1. I beg to differ. Mardi Gras has a certain tradition and class to it (albeit) that GGW completely misses and poorly tried to imitate.

I would call Dionysius and his followers the creator of the whole phenomenon, but I'm sure that cavemen had their own version as well.

      2. After a couple of Hurricanes, Hand Grenades, and Cajun Martinis I don't think you'll be in any condition to judge the quality of the booze.

  4. This is a cause I can agree with for sure. It's about time someone started organizing a cause against Twilight.
