In what appears to be a staged “leak”, Nokia CEO Stephen Elop unveiled the company’s first Windows Phone model. Say hello to Sea Ray! Physically, the device is pretty much the same as the beautiful Nokia N9, but with an extra button. On a side note, I hope to be working with Nokia closely in the near feature. Part of it is because the company has really interesting products. Most of it is because I miss Finnish accents and humor. I had so much fun working with Nokia during the N-Gage days. The Finnish sense of humor is awesome.

I'm sure it will do well, but what do you mean by "take off"? I don't think one phone is enough to threaten Android and iOS.
Take off as in gain market share and help reestablish Nokia as a viable hardware manufacturer in the West.
I don't think it will make a noticeable dent in iOS or Android in 2012, but in 2013 it could begin a steady climb and I could see by 2015 where it will have gained a good bit of marketshare. Unless the carriers become more open I don't see Google maintaining that huge marketshare due to hardware not being consistent across the board.
Side note: I think I am going to BestBuy this evening to get a new phone. Probably going to get Samsung Fascinate since it is free and will lock me into unlimited data. I'll buy the GS2 straight up later this year. Iphone 4 = paper weight on ATT.
