  1. The boos when he announced AT&T was priceless.

"Sorry for the outage… try this service!"

    1. I can barely stream YouTube on my iPhone and it times out loading certain pages. I couldn't imagine paying to exclusively play games over their crap 3G. It's touted as faster than Verizon but in my experience I'll sacrifice a few fake MBs for a reliable steady connection.

      Spectrum shortage/crisis my left foot.

  2. I'm pretty sold on Vita. I have lots of thoughts about it and will keep them to myself if you are going to have a Vita posting for tomorrow or so.

    1. If I can get it on my plan without upping my monthly charge… it would definitely be a tempting option for me.

      1. same here, ….its actually also somehow cheaper than the psp was at launch?

  3. im telling you, the most impressive thing about the sony conference was that ruin game….and ill tell you why. THis could be a total game changer for games to be fully accessable for vita and ps3. Imagine being able to save your games on the ps3, and take your vita and continue playing, seamlessly on the go. Im telling you, total potential, and this will be something you will you be seeing a TON of over the next few years

    1. Do you have to be a PS+ sub to get cloud saves? If so, that will be disappointing for sure.

I do agree with you though. That feature (RUIN) sold me quite a bit. The fact that the devs of UC incorporated a unique way of using touch on a machine WITH actual tactile buttons was pretty nice. The feature where he would swipe his way across the ledge was pretty nice. LIttle things like that. I'm a pretty big proponent of iOS games and even I was impressed with a non iOS dev coming up with a good scheme like that.

Oddly enough the controller itself gave me a great view into what I think Nintendo's controller will be like. In fact I'll go ahead and say that the Vita is pretty much what Project Cafe has up its sleeve. I would not be opposed to Sony putting out firmware to use the Vita as a controller for the PS3. The touchscreen and rear touchpanel would be a great way to interact with certain games.
