I’m flying off for a quick weekend shoot and I’m really hoping that Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together arrives today. That will make flying to Orlando and back a smooth ride. Before I go, I think I’ll pop LittleBigPlanet 2 in my PS3 for a bit. I’ve been neglecting Sackboy and I think he’s pissed off at me.

My girl and I are going to the Cape (Cape Cod) for a weekend getaway so I will have little to no time for games. I'm going to try and squeeze in some Mafia 2 and Bayonetta tonight and tomorrow morning.
How are you digging them so far? A lot of my friends loved Bayonetta.
I absolutely love Bayonetta! I got to play it at PAX last year and was hooked since then. I also think that Mafia 2 is kick ass. To me its a better game than GTA4 so far, I really love the time period and music. I got to chapter 4 in both games so I only scratched the surface.
Yeah, I’m playing Mafia 2 at the moment too and the soundtrack is awesome. So far, I like Delta Radio the best. Delta Radio might be the coolest music in any game ever.
I agree with you about Delta radio, I wonder if the music and radio stations change as the game progresses.
I think i'm going to dive into Uncharted next, Kzone3 Beta, and Black Ops.
I recently started up another playthrough of Mass Effect 2. I'm also thoroughly enjoying Dead Space 2, so if I can find time when my son's not around I'll play that too.

Pokemon Black and White Mall tour tomorrow with my little brother and sister, playing HeartGold. I have to level up my Ambipom and Weavile to level 100 now, they are fully EV trained and have all of the moves they should right now. Weavile will have to wait for a couple of his moves because they cost so many BP at the frontier access area, and I am pretty low on that right now. I am EV training some Venusaurs (bulbasaurs currently) later today and tomorrow when I get back though.
I am really looking forward to seeing what is at the Mall Tour and will also be taking all of my cartridges to get the event Celebi that they will have there.
ever since i got marvel vs capcom 3 last week, i couldn't stop playing it. online is a bitch though. hadouken and dante spammers everywhere.
… so it's just like twenty years ago in the old arcade rooms I remember then, right? We have come full-circle.

For those who can't tell by my seemingly obscure and generic Gravatar; it's Sam Fisher which means I'm playing Splinter Cell; Conviction this weekend. Again. That game takes quite a while to 100% it.
I'll have to ask Big Blak to help me out next weekend to speed things up since he's spending some quality time away from gaming this weekend.

I've been neglecting my consoles for the past month, now. My college schedule hasn't exactly made it easy to get back into playing some of my favorite games that I've left unfinished. But I did get Disney Epic Mickey and Dead Rising 2 from Gamerang a couple days ago (older games, I know), so I think I'll give those a whirl.
Ha! You want to talk about playing older games? I just completed (read: unlocked 100% of the achievements in) Bioshock (1) a few weeks ago. Coincidentally, I also authored a "tips & tricks" guide for the "Brass Balls" achievement on the Xbox.com game forums.
After I'm done with Conviction, I am planning on starting Fallout 3 for the very first time… and I still have to get around to Dead Rising 2.

BTW, Arkham Asylum is newer than Fallout 3 and Conviction.

I've had a family member pass away and have had to travel where there is nothing but my iPhone on Edge. 3 days and counting. Sorry if I've seemed snappy at anyone. It's frustrating waiting for the mobile site to load for a few minutes.
Sorry to hear that. Hope it gets better where you are at though. It is aggravating to have to wait for one page to load like that though.
So I went to the Pokemon Black and White mall tour today with my little brother and sister…in short, that was a really great event to go to. The demos were really fun to play and offered a great variety of gameplay to go through. I wish there would have been more to do in the demo, or at least a little more freedom within the demo though because it was extremely guided and only lasted a couple of minutes (depending on how good or bad you were at the battles). I played through the demo once on White version and once on Black version to see if there was any difference in the demos. My brother and sister played the same amount as well, and I saw no real difference between the two versions—except that every demo was different because of the pokemon that you had in your 3 team party and the season that you started with. Everything was random and allowed people to get a different experience from each demo.
There were some cool pictures around and some blow up figures of the two legendaries, as well as people dressed up as the three starters from Black/White. There was a 5 station scavenger hunt (can you really call it that if they tell you where the stations are??) also where you got a stamp in a special informational booklet that you received when you got there. Once you had all of the stamps you got to wait in line to spin the prize wheel where you were guaranteed a prize. My brother got a cool patch (don't remember which starter he got), my sister got a Tepig plush doll (which I really wanted!!), and I got a little stylus that I didn't want and gave to my brother. Another thing you got, after you exited the game demo you could choose a Black or White themed pin.
One really cool thing (that has yet to work, I'm sure it will be uploaded as soon as they get caught up with everything) is there was a green screen where you got your picture taken and received a plastic card with a special code and website url to visit in order to see the picture with one of three special pokemon themed backgrounds.
Then we got the special edition Celebi's that were available for the mall tour only, and when we finished there we went off to get a bit of lunch. After returning from a quick lunch we were able to catch a free exclusive viewing to the new Pokemon movie with Zoroark and Zorua. I really liked the movie. I felt like it was really good, and felt like it had a good plot to it with some really cool camera angles and shots used. It definitely didn't feel like a run of the mill Pokemon movie. It did seem to have a story that focused on Celebi as much as it did Zorua and Zoroark, which I felt was wrong because Celebi already has its own movie from before. To top it all off we got a giant Celebi/Zorua pokemon card. Then before we left my brother he bought a Oshowatt plush doll and I bought a black Reshiram t-shirt.
Overall there was plenty of cool stuff to see, and stuff to get. Also, a couple cosplayers were there too. Misty was the only decently done one though. Personally I wish there would have been more interaction between fans, but people seemed pretty closed off to their own little groups of people that they were there with. Definitely a fun event to go to though, and it only made me even more anxious for Black and White to release!! I'm sending pictures to Ray here pretty soon, so you might get to see some of those too.

Most of the people who were working were local (and somehow I missed applying for a job there, I want one of the cool shirts they got!! lol) and the ones who worked for Nintendo didn't want to talk to any pokefans or weren't really amused/told me there was no official word on the matter.
I shouldn't asked about Pokemon Rainbow and tried my luck with that instead!! haha

I almost forgot, more big news that I didn't know before (maybe others had heard though). Anyone who has a DSi or DSi XL will be able to do video chat with each other with up to three people, two max in the wi-fi club. Kind of like facetime for DSi. And of course they show an example with crystal clear images and the caption "screen images may vary from final product."
