320GB PlayStation 3 Bundle Hitting on September 19 for $399.99

Sony has unveiled the $399.99 PlayStation Sports Champions Move Bundle, which features a 320GB and other goodies. Here’s the scoop from Sony Computer Entertainment America director John Koller:

The 320GB PS3 system will hit store shelves on September 19, in conjunction with the launch of PlayStation Move. It will be part of the PS3 Sports Champions Move bundle, which includes one PlayStation Move motion controller, PlayStation Eye camera, a copy of Sports Champions on Blu-ray disc, and bonus Blu-ray game demo disc — all in one complete package for $399.99 (MSRP). The value included in this bundle is incredible and we know this will further add to the exceptionally high demand for the new platform.

Marketing speak aside, it looks like a decent deal for gamers that don’t have a PS3 and are interested in Move. Any of you going to bite the bullet on this one? What do you think of the bundle’s value?

  1. That actually does seem like a great deal. Makes me wish I had waited to buy my new PS3.

  2. The Value of this bundle is bananas but I'm not into the motion control thing.

I like how they one upped M$ with the storage space, way to go Sony. I still don't have a PS3 and Im not sold on blu ray, I do know and can tell the difference between standard def ,hddvd and blu ray, but with streaming Netflix I cant find any reason to get a PS3 (blu ray player) and spend the extra money on blu ray movies. Most of the games I play are multiplatform and xbl is the best when it comes to online gaming so I'm in a good spot right now with the 360.

That's how I am feeling too. I would like to have a blu-ray player though, and am still trying to figure out which is the best deal to save up for with blu-ray players. Standard blu-ray, blu-ray with wifi, or a PS3. Keeping in mind I plan on having two of the new 360 Slims with the built in wifi. One for me and one for my fiance, and when they are in the same place we will just be able to have them for different rooms or something. That is still a pretty good deal though if you are looking into a PS3.
