Google’s App Inventor for Android is an interesting initiative that aims to make development ridiculously easy. Using a simple visual tool, App Inventor requires no programming knowledge at all. Check out the video above to see how easy it is to use. App Inventor will certainly lead to a ton of garbage, but I’m sure there will be some gems created with or at least started with these tools.

The only programing I did was hex editing on the original Xbox with Halo. Shooting rockets out of shotguns instead of pellets, flame throwers, we made/had it all. I would be interested in trying this out. I would like to make something that I would use, if others would like it that would be pretty swell!
Damn. Me and a friend have been writing code for an Iphone app now for 2 months. This would make things a bit smoother I guess.
