Testing RPad.tv Mobile Version

Hi there guys and gals! I’m testing out a mobile version of the site. You should see it on Android, BlackBerry OS, iOS, etc. Please let me know what you think. If it’s cool with you, I’ll keep it. If not, I won’t. As Captain Planet says, “The power is yours!”

The mobile version seems ok to me. The click this to read the post and click this to read the comments is ok. I like that the page loads faster but i cant see the kool pics you have with your post previews. The pics you have in those previews are pretty awesome.

It looks nice Ray. It will be much harder to see comments on older stories but that is the only thing I could find to pick on lol. Looks clean.

I thought my Android OS updated on me while I was asleep lol. It is very easy to read the new posts but I really miss the pictures and the feel of the Rpad.tv home page. I need my fix on the go sometimes and while it is pretty cool I don’t really like it. I vote to switch it back to the good ‘ol home page.

Never mind found the switch at the bottom of the page to take it off mobile mode.

I have been hoping for something like this. How can I locate it on iOS? I didn’t see anything so far.

@bsukenyan It should be automatic. There should also be a toggle switch on the bottom for mobile on/off.

@Ray

Gotcha, it looks pretty sweet so far. I like this better than having to zoom in and out on the actual page. Very nice format.

Maybe I’m being an idiot (if so, I blame it on the fact that I came down with a cold yesterday and my brain just wants me to sleep), but I can’t figure out how to leave a comment on the mobile version.

(iOS 4 in case you really didn’t know, but all of you did)

@N8R The login is in the pull-down menu in the upper right. It’s not the most obvious, but I don’t have a good solution for it.

@ Ray and Smartguy

Thanks, for some reason, I’m having login troubles. I blame it on the fact that WordPress hates me like Mel Gibson hates every race that isn’t him.

@Hrolf Good to see you again! All three of your comments posted fine. Not sure what the error was.

I couldnt find the log in option. So, i had to switch to full site then come back to mobile. No problems. I see you put that notice or alert now before you switch. Good move. Keep up the good work. I like the mobile little by little.

@tokz_21 The login option is in the pull-down menu in the top right…or at least it should be.
