This Week’s Videogame Releases

There are a bunch of interesting games launching this week. Hitting the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 are Super Street Fighter IV, Dead to Rights: Retribution, and Nier. The PlayStation portable has PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe and Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley.

I’m super psyched for the new Street Fighter. This edition lets you host your own tournaments. It sounds perfect for an RPad.tv Invitational, no?

Are you guys and dolls picking up any new games this week? Leave a comment and let me know (please)!

  1. I'm interested in SSFIV, especially with it being $39.99 and not $59.99. I think that was a wise move by Capcom.

How could you forget about FIFA World Cup?

It's only going to be the best soccer game to date

I wasn't interested in FIFA WC edition but that's getting on my nerves. If it were $39.99 like SSFIV then i would get it but why should i have to shell out another $59.99 for a game that gives me the teams in the WC. This seems something that should be included or come as a DLC. I usually buy FIFA every year but i boycotted it this year and most likely will until they fix this. Not like it matters.

I've bought every single FIFA since 07 and to tell you the truth I feel exactly the same way. I feel like EA is overcharging for it and I wasn't going to buy it on that principal. The thing that changed my mind though was the 20 dollar off EA store coupon that I found a few weeks back. 39.99 in my opinion is well worth the newly added online features, bug fixes, and game modes, plus it will give me a quick world cup fix. June 11th couldn't come any sooner.

  5. I just noticed they are finally making another Parasite Eve game, albeit on PSP but still I have been wanting this for forever.

  6. @Insomniacswaltz I actually considered putting it on the list, but most American gamers aren't interested in football. Personally, I'm only interested in Premiere League.

@SlickyFats I've been tracking that one for a while. I have high hopes for it.
